holiday party




has anyone ever had a holiday party for their office? to be honest, i hadn't either. i expected cocktail attire, casual conversation about work, and a nice dinner. what i found was an open bar at the top of the bank of america building at the boston college club. this was more like a college frat party disguised in semi-appropriate cocktail attire. if you weren't taking shots with your boss, then you obviously didn't attend.

urban decay:: all nighter



okay picture this: you leave for work in the morning after applying your make-up thinking look great and wham! you catch your reflection in the mirror at work and wonder "what happened to all of my makeup? why are my cat eyes now under my eyes? HELP!"
i came across this product on one of my favorite blogs, pink horrorshow, and had to try it. the reviews on sephora are amazing and dancers swear by it, so i scooped it up and today is day 1. reviews on the "all nighter" to come!

new year's, new boys.

blogging again. sidenote: moved to boston.


a night out with my friends to the liberty hotel in boston. the liberty was formerly a jail in boston, and now it's a swanky hotel with a great restaurant and fun bar called "the alibi." who doesn't feel welcome in a prison-themed bar with celebrity mug shots plastered on the walls? i know i do.


why is it that everyone wears black on new years eve? i get it, sparkles AND color may be tacky or overwhelming, but we just did it anyway. ;)

skinny diet

It's that time again, people. It's time to get my nutrition back to where it needs to be. It's easy to get nutrition-lazy when you have a busy schedule, but I personally don't think that's a good enough excuse. This past weekend i went to Westport in Cape Cod and I definitely indulged in ice cream cones, mashed potatoes, breaded fish, & of course a few late night cocktails. Monday is the perfect day to get back on track with your diet AND fitness. Everyone knows you need both to get your body where you want it, but trust me..... i know that it's not easy! Even looking back to my personal training days, I know how hard it is to make time for working out. Nonetheless, it must be done, so here it my new plan of action:



running in the morning & resistance training + abs in the evening

I also picked up a few necessities from the grocery:

mmm i love tomatoes


avocados {the most amazing fruit ever}



whole wheat pita...

& of course my latest obsession!..................


chobani greek yogurt! 0 fat, and tons of protein!


But, before I start my regimen tomorrow, tonight i'm going to make one last yummy not-so-healthy thing!
Tomato & Goat Cheese Pizza with basil & sliced onions...{i'll keep you posted on how this turns out! haha}

sext me your snapper



I think it may be time for another victory for team "sext me your snapper." If you didn't already know, this is our team name when we play trivia at the Tavern on Thursday nights. So far we've racked up a a few nice prizes such as a few t-shirts, a yankees hat, & two $50 gift cards to use at the bar (not bad if you ask me).
